I live 20 miles north of Dallas and am prepping for the most likely SHTF here,bad weather,loss of utilities, etc. I am shooting for 30 days of preps. Here's my "Prep Pantry" so far.
Drinking water is handled. However,water for toilets,washing etc is a tougher problem. I live only a mile from a very large lake,so I'm trying to figure the best way to get water from the lake back to my house. I have a pickup but can't decide what to load the water in for transport and store it in once I get back to the house? I'm retired so buying an expensive 500 gallon storage tank is out of the question. Any suggestions???
